Zahra Indigo Rønlov - our spiritual Guide and Teacher
Rev. Indigo Rønlov MA holds a master degree in Ecopsychology from Naropa University. She is a healer, teacher of shamanism and the Egyptian mysteries since 2000. She has been working with Nicky Scully of Egyptian Mystery School for many years and since 2009 she has ben in a lineage holder in the tradition of Thoth and a priestess dedicated to serving Ma’at. Indigo brings deep shamanic experience, Reiki, herbalism and past life regression. She is also a Minister of Her Walking Prayer with the Center for Sacred Studies. It is Indigo’s intention to live in service to healing of our Planet. Indigo has also founded a non profit organisation, Zahra Foundation, to teach handicrafts to local women in Egypt.
ITINERARY OCTOBER 21-28
Day 1 Monday 21 October - Arrive and meet in Luxor no later than 12:00 (noon) We will advise the meeting place at a later date. International flight is your responsibility.
At the Embrace Hotel Bed and Breakfast are included but not lunches or dinners, which we will help to organise.
Programme on Dahabiya 5 days/4 nights
Day 01: Esna – El Hegz
Transfer from Luxor to Esna to board the dahabiya - crew will welcome you on board and have your bags taken to your cabins; we set the sails and start a fantastic and unforgettable journey on the river Nile. Overnight stop at El Hegz Island located north of Edfu.
Day 02: El Kab - Edfu
Enjoying our breakfast while sailing on the river Nile, Visit to El Kab, to discover this largely unexplored ancient city. Discover the ancient walls, the temple and tombs, cut from the rock face, dating from the new kingdom. Sailing to Edfu, we will have a wonderful ride by horse carriage through the village to the monumental temple of Horus, one of the largest and best-preserved sacred temples of Egypt. Two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance. Then we continue our sailing day and experience in slowly passing by the farmers and fishermen, the picturesque and abundant nature along the river Nile and the green fertile landscapes with sugar cane fields, guava - banana- and date palm-trees. Shortly before sunset we drop anchor near Gebel Silsela where we enjoy the dinner in an atmospheric surrounding.
Day 03: Gebel Sisila
After breakfast we go ashore to discover the old Pharaonic quarries of Sisila with the seldom visited rock-cut temple of Horemheb. From the top of the mountain we enjoy a breathtaking view. Continue our relaxing sailing day. Near to KomOmbo we overnight at the edge of Mainha Island.
Day 04: KomOmbo – Aswan
After breakfast we sail on to KomOmbo where we explore the exceptionally beautiful temple of Horus the Elder and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple in Egypt.

Day 05: Aswan -Isis Philae Temple.
After breakfast we explore the famous city Aswan, visiting the unfinished obelisk in the Pharaonic quarries, and then taking the motorboat ride to the sacred temple of Philae, dedicated to the Goddess Isis. A visit to the original site of the Isis temple on Egilica Island.
If time allows: we will go to Aswan High Dam where
we have great views to the Lake Nasser and the Nile River below.
Transfer to Luxor to Embrace Hotel by coach
